Markerless cameras - Rainbow range

Cutting-edge full-color video cameras. Use them for standalone markerless systems, or to record reference video alongside your markered collections.

Paired with our Thunderbird cameras, Rainbow enables hybrid markered/markerless mocap with true frame-by-frame synchronization and syncs fully with other devices like EMG sensors and force plates.

Standard models come in 1.3 MP and 3.2 MP resolution formats. Higher resolutions up to 12.3 MP are available.

Thunderbird

Our next-generation mocap camera line: five cameras for both active and passive markers, available in resolutions up to 12 MP. They offer a wider lens selection than our Kestrel line and greater field-of-view advantages.

Thunderbird is built on the latest core technology - GigE camera-standard communication, modern field-programmable gate arrays, and built-in PTP-based output synchronization - for superior network robustness and future-proof compatibility.

Kestrel Plus

Our Kestrel Plus cameras are the proven industry workhorses - over-engineered, high-performance, and exceptional value, with true plug-and-play setup. They're fully backward compatible with our previous Kestrel and Raptor systems.

Active marker cameras

Compact, robust, and great value — ideal for studios starting out with mocap. BaseCam is the entry-level model, available as a set of 12 cameras and pairs with our lightweight Basix Go software.

More advanced are the 0.4 MP Icefall and 1.6 MP Lhotse, which integrate with each other, the Thunderbird range, and both Basix Go and Cortex software. Each upgrades cleanly to Thunderbird 400 and 1600 respectively - adding passive marker tracking.
