Movement Analysis Videos: L.E.G.S. Project
Senior engineering students from LeTourneau University have traveled to Kijabe, Kenya to fit disabled Kenyan children and adults with free prosthetics. Using a Motion Analysis system and a force plate mounted in the floor of the University's biomedical engineering laboratory in Longview, Texas, the students completed extensive testing on their prosthetic leg design. The goal of the project was to design a prosthetic device that could be easily reproduced with accessible supplies by the Kenyan people.
